When I go away, or even when I’m taking photos locally, I love to take photos of the signs I see. There are a few reasons:
* you learn about what can be done or seen in the area
* you learn what’s important to the local people
* by photographing the signs, I can re-read them later and use some of the information in my scrapbooking and blog
Sometimes the signs contain information that is purely from a tourist information side of it and others give you historical information. When I come home I read through all the information and it becomes an important memory tool.
