The Block 2012
This year (and for the second year running) The Block was filmed in Melbourne. Last time it was inner-city Richmond and this year it was just over the Yarra River in South Melbourne. They took four derelict 19th century townhouses and transformed them into modern homes.
The Block is always one of my favourite shows and I couldn’t wait to see the completed homes. When Mum and I went there, they had just been completed but were awaiting sale by auction. This would be shown on tv about a month later.
